Keyboard shortcuts (playlist view)

In addition to standard navigation shortcuts, the playlist view supports the following keyboard shortcuts:

Key combination	Action
Ctrl+Enter	Add the selection to the playback queue
Ctrl+F	Open the search bar
F2	Activate inline metadata editing for the current selection
F3	Open the search bar or navigate to the next search result
Shift+F3	Open the search bar or navigate to the previous search result

These shortcuts will only work when the playlist view is focused. They will not work if the relevant key combinations have been assigned to commands on the Keyboard Shortcuts preferences page.

If ‘Open search bar instead of pop-up playlist search when using Ctrl+F or F3’ is disabled in on the Search tab on the Playlist view preferences page, Ctrl+F and F3 will instead open the pop-up playlist search window.

When the search box in the search bar is focused, the following keyboard shortcuts are available:

Enter	Play the focused item
Ctrl+Enter	Add the focused item to the playback queue
Up	Navigate to the previous search result
Down	Navigate to the next search result
F3	Navigate to the next search result
Shift+F3	Navigate to the previous search result
